Plane that hit St. Vincent's
Just Came across a 1942 Picture of St Vincents Main Building Partially Hit by a Blenhiem Fighter Plane of the UK Royal Air Force.
The Caption was
Caption: Blenheim that tried to show off taking the cross off the top of the school at Asansol, 1/25 sec
The boys upon returning from a mission, regularly 'beat up' St Vincents school at Asansol which was being used as billets while they were posted there in 1942. This practice was abruptly halted when F/Sgt Mike Folliet Foster hit the cross on top sending debris falling and damaging the wing of his Blenheim.
